PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade system or the like, configured to reduce development cost and maintenance cost.SOLUTION: Each of blade servers 110-1 to 110-n including a CPU 120 and a system memory 140 to be used by the CPU 120 after executing processing includes: a BMC 160 connected to an enclosure manager (EM) 200 via an interface 262; and a BMC memory 150 connected to the BMC 160 via an interface 151, to load BMC firmware read from the EM 200 by the BMC 160. When an AC power source is turned on, the BMC 160 initializes the BMC and the BMC memory 150, in accordance with a first instruction code stored in advance, reads the BMC firmware from the EM 200, loads it to the initialized BMC memory 150, and executes it.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
