PURPOSE:To reduce the fraction defective by removing visual discrimination work thereby improving the work efficiency and cutting down the cost and improving the reliability. CONSTITUTION:A type display 10 is made on the parts mounting face of a printed board 1, and type indications 12a-12d such as 'FTA', etc., are printed. Parts mounting patterns 13a-13d, which correspond to these type indications by one to one each, are formed. Moreover, a hole 14 is provided, which is blocked when a part is mounted in each pats mounting position of the type display 10. And, in mounting process, a chip part is mounted in the part mounting pattern 13a-13d corresponding to some one of the type indications 12a-12d. Then, in discrimination process, the type is discriminated by installing a light emitting part and a light receiving part above and below in each hole 14 and detecting whether the chip part is mounted in the specified position or not by whether the light emitted from the light emitting part is received with a light receiving part or not. |
