PURPOSE:To provide the database system from which a desired picture is retrieved efficiently in a short period of time by having only to input retrieval information once. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with a database 1, a retrieval key entry section (input means) 4 and a control section (read means) 1C. Even when lots of pictures are registered for a same keyword (e.g. name of person), the retrieval key entry section 4 is used to enter the keyword to read only the picture registered in the database 1 within a prescribed period among all pictures stored corresponding to the keyword by entering the keyword, the desired picture is retrieved in a short time efficiently by inputting the retrieval information only once. |
