A novel organosilane polycondensation product of the formula I (Z-SiO¢1.5-(a+b)/2!(OH)a(OR)bR'z)r (I) in which 0<a<3, 0<b<3, (a+b+z)<3, z<1, r>1, R and R' is C1-C8 alkyl, Z is an organic radical of the formula II <IMG> (II) in which n and m represent integers from 1 to 8, c<1, d<1, e<2, f<2, c+d=1, e+f=2, X is an organic acid radical,R1 is -(CH2)pAr1, R2 is (CH2)qAr2 and Ar1 and Ar2 is an aryl, aralkyl or aralkenyl radical and wherein p and q represent integers from 1 to 8. The novel compounds are prepared by hydrolysis of hydrogen salts of aminosilane compounds or by hydrolysis of aminosilanes and subsequent reaction with an alkyl salt. They are used as adhesion promoters between inorganic and organic surfaces.
