A feed beam for a rock drill, comprising a body portion (6) made of a light metal profile and slide guides (9a, 9b; 10a, 10b) secured thereto. The slide guides (9a, 9b; 10a, 10b) are secured to the body portion (6) by providing in said body portion (6) grooves (7a, 7b; 8a, 8b) in the longitudinal direction thereof, said grooves narrowing on the surface side of the body portion (6). The slide guides (9a, 9b; 10a, 10b) are of a cross-section of the shape of the grooves (7a, 7b; 8a, 8b) enabling them to be mountable in the grooves (7a, 7b; 8a, 8b) only by insertion in the longitudinal direction of the body portion (6) and respectively removable therefrom by drawing them out in the same direction. |
