PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a small motor for an electrically-assisted power steering system that causes less change in properties of permanent magnets provided in the rotor even under a wide variety of temperature environment, that achieves compatibility between low torque ripples and high torque, and that provides favorable steering feel, and to provide the motor for an electrically-assisted power steering system.SOLUTION: A rotor 25 of a brushless motor provided in an electrically-assisted power steering system includes a disc magnet 55 provided between a first rotor core 40 and a second rotor core 50. The disc magnet 55 generates an N pole (a first magnetic pole) on first projecting pieces 43 of the first rotor core 40 and generates an S pole (a second magnetic pole) on second projecting pieces 53 of the second rotor core 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
