PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize, in damping control for restricting vibration of a vehicle body by wheel torque control through drive output control, discomfort of a driver while minimizing degradation in response to yaw rate, resulting from damping control during rotation of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A damping control device, according to the present invention, which restricts pitch or bouncing vibration of a vehicle by controlling drive output for a vehicle, comprises: a damping control part that controls drive torque for the vehicle so as to restrict pitch or bounce vibration amplitude on the basis of wheel torque acting on a wheel, generated at the location of contact between the wheel and a road surface; and a compensation component adjustment part that reduces the magnitude of a compensation component that compensates for wheel torque for damping control calculated by the damping control part, with an increase in the magnitude of the steering angle speed of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
