<p>In known photographic processing apparatus, a track length of approximately 2m is defined by a processing rack. This gives a minimum overall height of the processing rack of around 1m. This has the disadvantage that it is difficult to remove the processing rack from the apparatus for maintenance and repair. Described herein is a processing rack arrangement which for a given processing path length has an overall height reduction. A rack (10) includes an inlet (12, 14) and an outlet (16, 18), and switch means (22) for directing the material to be processed either directly to the outlet (16, 18) or around a processing path defined by a roller arrangement (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44,46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58). The processing path so defined is folded to provide an acceptable path length but reducing the overall height of the processing rack (10). <IMAGE></p> |
