TRAINING MINE AND METHOD FOR ITS SLOW ACTIVATION

Training mine (1) containing a current supply unit (17), an electric release mechanism (18) and an effect unit (21) consisting of an ignitor, a detonator and dye marker is characterized by a mechanical activation means for slowly activating the displacement sensitive electric circuit (16) of the mine and a method therefore, said mechanical activation means by use of two assembled but, independently of each other, motion-restraining means, the spring force of the one means being slightly larger than the retarding force of the cold flowing material in the other means, accomplishing a delayed mechanical activation of the electric circuit (16) enabling the person overseeing the training to place the mine in the terrain before the activation is complete, thus enabling the mine to react on slight displacement.
