On rotor spinning machines, the sliver draw-in into the opening clothings at the spinning stations is usually carried out by means of drawing-in rollers which are connected via a worm gear to a drive shaft extending along the entire spinning machine. In the event of a thread break, during piecing or when the sliver breaks, the drawing-in roller is separated from the drive shaft via a coupling. The worm gear for driving the drawing-in rollers and the couplings have a complicated and cost-intensive design. It is therefore proposed, according to the invention, that each drawing-in roller (32) together with its drive shaft (41) be connected directly to the drive shaft (42) of an individual drive (39), and that each individual drive (39) be integrated in the cover (3) of the housing (2) of its spinning station (1). <IMAGE>
