The invention relates to a device for the surgical treatment of congenital malformations of the abdominal wall in children, i.e. gastroschisis and omphalocele. According to the invention, the device consists of a cylindrical-shaped silicone recipient (1), closed at the upper end (4) and opened at the lower end (5), provided with a ring (6) having a thickened and flared edge (7), a tight balloon (2) being placed inside the recipient (1) and provided at its upper side with a rubber valve (3), through which gas or liquid is injected at a controlled pressure, until the balloon (2) fills up the entire capacity of the silicone recipient (1). |
