A dial-free, pre-programmed electronic alarm apparatus whereby a person can alert a monitoring person when desired, operable through a telephone line and using the power thereof, said apparatus comprising: a base; signal sending means, operable through said telephone line; using power of said line for sending a signal to said monitoring person, upon actuation thereof; means to actuate said signal sending means connected therewith; and means to de-actuate said signal sending means connected therewith and operable through said telephone line by said monitoring person.
