The present invention relates, as new compound, to {(7S)-7-[(2R)-2-(3-chlorophenyl)-2-hydroxyethylamino]-5,6,7,8-tetrahyd ro-2-naphthyloxy}acetic acid of formula (I) <IMAGE> and to its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, with ss3-adrenergic agonist activity, and to the pharmaceutical compositions containing it. Application: treatment and/or prophylaxis of pathological conditions which can be improved using an agonist activity by mediation by receptors of the ss3-adrenergic type.
