Rucksack, particularly a satchel, comprising: . an actual bag (1), intended to receive the load, having, on the top (2), an opening (3) and, on the rear, a back (5); . a carrying harness, consisting of a pair of shoulder straps (10, 11) fastened via their upper end (12, 13) to the top of the back (5) of the bag, and a holding (support) belt (20) formed from three successive distinct parts, namely a central zone (21) fastened to the bottom (7) of the back (5) and two free, floating lateral zones (25, 26), characterised in that the lower end (16, 27) and (17, 28) of the shoulder straps (10, 11) is fastened in the vicinity of the free end (30, 31) of the corresponding floating zone (25, 26) of the belt. <IMAGE>
