An abrasive material for manufacturing ceramic abrasive shaped stones, including silica, calcium carbide and iron oxide, characterized in that the abrasive material is a by-product of a silicon carbide as a return compound featuring 150-65 μm grains or 56-21 μm micrograins, including not less than 25% per weight of SiC, not more than 50% per weight of SiO2, 8-20% per weight of petroleum coke, and not more than 1.5% per weight of Fe2O3.
