Feed-metering carriage, comprising at least one roller which is arranged in the loading chamber of the carriage and can be driven in rotation; supply means for conveying feed which is located in the loading chamber to the at least one roller; discharge means for discharging feed which is metered through the roller, the roller being provided with a number of carrier members which, in operation, separate the supplied feed and move the separated feed towards the discharge means.
