HAIR COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS

A liquid hair cosmetic composition comprising: a) from about 0.1% by weight to about 10% by weight (acid basis) of a silicone-containing polycarboxylic acid hair styling copolymer having a vinyl polymeric backbone, and having grafted to the backbone a silicone-containing macromer having a weight average molecular weight of from about 1,000 to about 50,000; b) from about 0.01% by weight to about 10% by weight of a non-silicone-containing hair styling resin; and c) the balance comprising a carrier suitable for application to hair. The liquid hair cosmetic products demonstrate excellent hair styling and feel attributes in addition to ease of brush out and improved clarity.
