The method for controlling scent of an airconditioner is disclosed to add a function of the scent which a periodic fluctuation theory is applied to an air blower of the airconditioner, thereby an user can feel more comfortable. The method includes a first step of storing data from a periodic fluctuation theory, a second step of checking a suction air amount, a blast air amount, a blast air temperature and an inside pressure of a scent tub, and computing a scent spreading amount, a third step of controlling an the ON or OFF of a valve corresponding to the scent spreading amount computed, and a fourth step of periodically switching ON or OFF for driving the blower and performing repeatedly the second and third steps. |
