In the course of preparation, the change in temperature of the starting products is brought about by means of a heat energy distributor which heats the inner wall (15a) of a mixing bowl (15) to the preparation temperature. A stationary mixing tool mixes the starting products inside the rotating mixing bowl, the rotary movement of the mixing bowl being obtained by means of a drive (21) comprising an electric motor (19). The drive motor is a single-phase synchronous motor fitted with a permanent-magnet bipolar rotor having no "blocage de retenue" [? retaining lock]. A coupling member (21) is provided in two parts connected by means of an elastic coupling.
