Process for desensitising to intercrystalline corrosion the Al alloys belonging to the series 2000 and 6000 of the Aluminum Association and the corresponding products. The process consists essentially of an incomplete solubilisation before the maturing and/or final tempering. The products are identified by their electrical conductivity and/or their differential thermal analysis signal. They find their application in the mechanical construction and transport industries (railways, motor vehicles, aeronautics, maritime).
