The shower unit contains a vertical bar (1) which serves as an adjustable positioning support for a sliding unit (3) which carries the shower head (4). This bar equally serves as the channel for the introduction the hot water (C) and the cold water (F) to a flow regulator (10) controlling the water feed to the shower head (4). This regulator is fitted at one of the ends of the vertical bar (1).
