<p>A chassis (2), with wheels (11), has a front side scraper (3) located near the bottom of the pipe. A transverse flap (6), able to obstruct the lower part of the pipe upstream of the scraper, is pivoted about a horizontal axle and weighted in its lower part. The flap can pivot between a vertical position, where it retains the effluent, and an inclined position. It is automatically inclined, immediately the effluents pass a certain level above its pivoting axle. The effluents are then released and generate a wave of untreated effluent which displaces the debris located downstream of the apparatus. Two longitudinal walls (7) connected by uprights (5) contain the flap. Two pairs of lateral webs (9,10) are pivoted about a vertical axis at the height of the flap. One web is fixed to the rear of the frame front side, at a distance greater than the width of different obstacles which the apparatus encounters in the pipe. The free edge of the webs are held by a spring in contact with the pipe side wall.</p> |
