The connector includes a collar (1) which has a tubular body (2) with an axial opening from which run two extensions (3,4) of the body, one against the other. The extensions are clamped together by a screw (17), washer (19) and nut (18) so as to grip the screen (12), taking its shape. The earthing wire (20) is fixed to the washer. A similar collar and extension may be added coaxially and within the first collar to be clamped by the one screw. It is placed under the screen so that the screen has to be separated back. Thus the screen is clamped between the collars and is held in place by spikes on the inner collar piercing the screen.
