FACE GRINDING STATE DISCRIMINATING METHOD

The method for discriminating the polish state of specimen surface with high speed comprises the steps of: a) forming digital image as taking surface picture of metal specimen; b) masking the digital image as passing the image through window which shape is same to the specimen surface to exclude the circumference of the specimen; c) selecting the start pixel from the masked image and forming pixel elements along the circumference of specimen with 3 x 3 cross templet application method until returning to the start pixel as storing the position and brightness of corresponding pixel; and d) determining polish state with detection of continuous unpolished pixels.
