The preserve jar containing the product (4) has a sealing cap (2a) with a blowhole (5). The blowhole is sealed by a self sticking tongue (3). The cap is placed on the jar and a cover (2) is fitted on the jar leaving a gap which allows a vacuum to be formed. Terminating the vacuum allows external air pressure to come back into the evacuated space and lock and seal the cap on top of the jar.In order to open the jar the tongue is pulled between the thumb and the forefinger, and the external air fills the jar and frees the cap.
