The box (1) includes a solid outer side casing (5-8) internally lined over at least one portion (6, 8) by a wall (19) having openings. All the spaces located in the side casing and one of the walls (19) having openings are in communication with the external air via the top, whereas the rest of the internal space of the side casing (5-8), in which it is intended for the lamp to be installed, is closed on the top by a pane of glass.
