Soln. for nasal admin. comprises an aq. soln. of a natural mineral water that has been made isotonic pref. by the addition of NaCl, together with a preservative and a fluidiser. Preservative should be sufficient to ensure sterility for 15 days, and is pref. benzalkonium chloride. The fluidiser acts on the nasal mucosa and is pref. Polysorbate 80 (RTM) present in the amt. 0.2-0.5 g/100 ml.
