The dyeing method of a raised fabric is characterized by (a) scouring and fractionating a raw fabric composed of a modified polyester yarn and a fraction-type composite yarn to form a raising of a nylon finefilament yarn on the surface of the fabric, (b) padding and squeezing the raised fabric with an alkaline paste solution composed of 200wt. pt. sodium alginate, 40wt. pt. triazine deriv. 20wt. pt. sodium sulfate, 10wt.pt. sodium carbonate and 730wt.pt. water, (c) treating the fabric with a satd. vapour at 120deg. C for 30min, and (d) dyeing it at 120deg. C for 60min. The modified polyester yarn is obtd. by copolymerizing a polyester with a 5-sodium sulfo-isophthalate, and the composite yarn is composed of an alkali soluble copolymeric polyester and a fiber formable polyamide.
