The discoloring unsatd. polyester resin is prepd. by : feeding and stirring 5.5 wt.pts of ethylene glycol, 9.0 wt.pts of dipropylene glycol, 12.0 wt.pts of propylene glycol, 22.0 wt.pts of phthalic acid anhydride, and 15.0 wt.pts of maleic acid anhydride; feeding 0.02 wt.pts of hydroquinone and 0.08 wt.pts of dibutylphthalate diluting in 36.0 wt.pts of styrene monomer; then feeding 0.4 wt.pts of naphthenic acid cobalt and 0.000001-0.0001 wt.pts of 4,4',4"-methyldinetris(n,n-dimethyl aniline.
