A light-weight, low-cost, and easy-to-manufacture rim (10) for use with a tire assembly capable of realizing stable high-speed traveling with a flat tire and an extended continuous travel distance. A rim includes flanges (11), bead seats (12), and a support section (13) integrally formed together with the flanges and the bead seats. The support section (13) is made up of a pair of legs (14) extending radially outside from the inner sides of the bead seats, and a tire receiving section (15) connecting between the tip ends of the pair of legs. A space between the legs is opened radially on the inside of the rim. |
