FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: proposed preparation is a complex of isonicotinic acidhydrazine with bivalent iron of the formulathat had not beendescribed early. It was found in animal experiments that proposedpreparation exhibited less toxicity and increased activity as comparedwith that of isonicotinic acid hydrazine. Proposed agent shows prolonged action, does not form toxic m tabolites in organism and shows expressed bacteriostatic effect on the strains oftuberculosis mycobacteria that are resistant to isonicotinic acid hydrazine and streptomycin. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness ofpreparation.
