METHOD FOR FUSING FIRE-PROOF MATERIALS

FIELD: blast furnace, induction fusion. SUBSTANCE: temperature physical characteristics of fuse of fire-proof materials are detected by specification of two standard levels for supply power when fuse temperature is reached. Said power levels should be higher than power required for generation of fuse. Heat flows are measured separately for side and face surfaces of crucible for each level. Fuse temperature is monitored continuously. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities.
