FIELD: facilities for stabilizing and corrective reactive power of three-phase sharply varying loads of industrial enterprises, such as arc steel-melting furnaces. SUBSTANCE: static thyristor compensators have three independent linear rectors connected to three-phase mains in delta, each through pair of thyristors connected in parallel opposition, respective pulse-phase control system. Phase position of thyristor control pulse in respective delta-connection phase of thyristor-reactor group depends not only on reactive power required from this phase at the moment but also on power of delta-connection phase which is in 60 el.deg. lead relative to given phase. This allows for fast response to changes in reactive power of load in linear conductors of supply mains. Leading phase power can be schematically taken into account by installing adders of desired value of own-phase power of reactor delta connection and power increment of leading phase from its turn-on moment to own-phase control pulse shaping instant between independent preset-value calculators of desired reactive power and pulse-phase control system. EFFECT: improved speed of compensator response. |
