<p>Water reservoir (15) for waterers for animals serve to reduce the water pressure of a water supply line feeding the waterer run to a defined lower waterer pressure. For flushing the animal waterer, on the other hand, water with a higher flushing pressure is necessary. To this end, the water supply line must be connected directly to the waterer run via a bypass bridging the water reservoir (15). To avoid the bypass line, the water reservoir (15) is designed according to the invention in such a manner that its regulating arrangement (27) can be locked in a position which does not reduce the water pressure. In this manner, for flushing the waterer run, water can flow from the water supply line through the water reservoir (15) with unreduced pressure, as a result of which a bypass line can be omitted. <IMAGE></p> |
