According to the invention, the bath with a door installed in its side solves the construction problem of how to lower a bath entrance-opening. The essence of the invention is in the opening having sides (2, 2c, 2d, 3, 4, 5 and 5a) and grooves (2a, 3a and 4a), and into which a gasket is placed, so that the gasket together with the door prevents water poured into the bath from leaking out. The opening and closing of the door can be done with the help of a cylindrical hole (2b) in the wall and the wedge of a closing mechanism.
