The device connects to the signal bus and power supply of a computer. The receiver can receive PAL, SECAM and NTSC standard video signals from band converters in the antenna. Access, identification and logic protection are provided in the receiver, and facilities for realtime searching, capture and display of sound or video pictures are also provided. The computer can assist an interactive search of the audio and radio channels associated with each TV channel and search and detect the position of a satellite with the help of a digital drive on the antenna. Reception parameters can be corrected in real time and selections programmed with interactive editing of the library of displayed channels. Several such receivers may coexist within the same computer.
