The brake unit for braking the revolution of two reels installed on the base plate of the player comprises : a first drive member making linear movements to drive the brake; a first brake member for operation against the revolution of a reel in association with the first drive member; a second brake member for operation against the revolution of another reel in association with the first brake member; a second drive member for driving the second brake member independent of the first brake member.
