Automatic call message entry for radio communication system

The method involves dialling a telephone number for entering call messages, and receiving an incoming call. A time window is provided for the reception of control information, esp. a dialled telephone number. If no control information arrives in the time window, the entry is performed by speech-controlled entry. The method switches from the speech-speech entry and/or the dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF)-speech entry procedure, to an automatic procedure, according to the control information. If any suitable control information arrives in the time window, subsequent call connection is triggered automatically.
