Camera for taking three=dimensional picture

The beam paths (1,2) from the view direction, corresp. to both eyes are linearly polarised orthogonally to each other and are combined precisely in a beam splitter (3), located in the beam intersection point in an angle halving manner. In the combined beam path is fitted a nematic or ferro-electric LCD (6), which turns both polarisation planes through 90 deg. in the same direction, on application of a control signal, whose cessation restores the original position. Between the LCD and the real picture plane is located a polarisation filter (7) for reflective light transparency for imaging one or the other vision direction picture.
