The communication system (KS) comprises at least one exchange (VST), several participant stations (T1... TN) which are connected to the exchange, a speech recognition arrangement (SE) and a control device (SM) for initiating the activation of the services. A server (ZS) and at least one further participant station are connected to the exchange, in which the server comprises the speech recognition arrangement and the control device for initiating the activation of the services.
