<p>A binder resin for toner which is a styrene-acrylic resin comprising a high-molecular-weight polymer component and a low-molecular-weight polymer component wherein the high-molecular-weight polymer component has a first peak in the molecular-weight region of 5 x 104 to 8 x 105 and at least two peaks and/or shoulders on the higher-molecular side than the first peak in the molecular weight distribution as determined by gel permeation chromatography; and a toner containing the resin.</p> |
