<p>An exhaust emission control device for diesel engines that is small and simple and can reduce and eliminate NOx in exhaust gas in an efficient manner. The device comprises a reforming catalyst (12) for reforming either a mixture of diesel fuel and water or a mixture of diesel fuel, water and air to an oxygen compound and supplying the same into an exhaust pipe (2) and a NOx catalyst (3) disposed in the exhaust pipe (2) and downstream the supplying position for reducing and controlling NOx in the exhaust gas from the diesel engine.</p> |
