FIELD: analytical chemistry of toxicants. SUBSTANCE: analysis is performed using 30% hydrogen peroxide in a slightly alkaline medium with 2.5% acetone solution of an aromatic amine, for example, o- tolydine. Method is distinguished with that using bipolar aprotone solvent (acetone) for aromatic amine and a mixture of 30% hydrogen peroxide with 0.002 N alkali (2:1 vol/vol) makes it possible to perform quantitative analysis of 2-chloroethenyldichloroarsine, which leads to improvement of basic metrological characteristics of the method and increase in output of mass analyses of samples by a factor of 3-4. Method may be employed in military and industrial indication and also when it is necessary to solve problems associated with destruction of chemical weapon and carrying out environmental examination. EFFECT: improved sensitivity, accuracy, reproducibility of analysis, widened accessible concentration range, and simplified procedure. |
