FIELD: mechanical engineering; oil and gas producing industry; gas compression. SUBSTANCE: with gas delivered under pressure, cylinder 1 is filled up from receiver 16 through ports 13. When pistons 2,3 approach top dead center, voltage is supplied to spark plug 6, and gas-air mixture is antechamber 10 is ignited. Hot gases pass into cylinder 1 and ignite working mixture. Pressure rise makes pistons 2,3 move to effect reverse stroke. Working medium is compressed in compression spaces and buffer 8, and atmospheric air is sucked into scavenging pump 9. When ports 13, 14 are opened by pistons 2,3, exhaust gases are discharged through branch pipe 17, thus providing gas exchange in cylinder 1. EFFECT: cut down consumption of diesel fuel by replacing it by natural or oil gas, intensified production of gaseous fuel, reduced pollution of ambient atmosphere, increased service life. 1 cl, 1 dwg |
