FIELD: transport engineering; wheels for cross country vehicles. SUBSTANCE: wheel has rim made in form of spindle shaped spiral flexible spring whose coils fit tightly to each other and can freely move relative to each other in cross direction relative to wheel axis within the limits of spring elasticity. Hubs are secured by chuck plates on ends of rim spring where diameter of spring coils is minimum. Grousers, either metal or elastic, can be secured on outer surface of rim.
