The phase moving device of a moire interference pattern comprises: a light source moving converter for projecting a light source, while rotary-moving within a set angle by a predetermined amount; a phase conversion lattice member disposed to be maintained by a predetermined distance from the light source moving converter and for phase-converting a lattice pattern having a predetermined phase in accordance with the moving light source to produce a moire interference pattern which has been phase-converted; a pickup tube camera to which the incidence of the moire interference pattern is applied to thereby convert the pattern into a pickup image signal; and a microcomputer for obtaining a phase difference between the moire interference pattern image signals generated in the pickup tube camera to analyze the shape and transform of an object in accordance with the obtained phase difference and for controlling the amount of rotation-moving distance of the light source moving converter in accordance with the size of the object.
