FIELD: marine ice-resistance platforms. SUBSTANCE: during inter-ice period, self-lifting floating drilling rig keeps away from marine ice-resistant platform by distance equal to 1-or 3-day passages, i.e. 260 to 800 km. Areas of circles at such radii vary from 0.25 to 2.0 mln sq.km, i.e. search operations may be performed without keeping away from ice-resistant platform. In case of danger of ice fields, drilling rig is towed to ice-resistant platform, placed on it and drilling is started if necessary. EFFECT: use of self-lifting floating drilling rigs in ice waters all year round. |
