Fish feed in the form of pellets is described. The fish feed has been made quick-sinking by coating the surface of the pellet with a cold-water-soluble starch. A process for preparing the fish feed is also described, in which a fish feed mixture of prior-art type is extruded to a pellet, the surface of which is then coated with a cold-water-soluble starch.
