PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die casting die 1 for preventing or reducing a shrinkage defect which occurs to a thick wall part 41 of a die cast product.SOLUTION: In a die casting die 1 for casting a die cast product 4 by pressing molten metal into a cavity 5, the die cast product 4 has a thick wall part 41, and a contact part between the die casting die 1 and the thick wall part 41 is a pit formation region 31, whose surface roughness Rz is set to 50 μm or more by forming a pit 32, and which has the pit 32 of 200 pieces/cmor more, where the pit 32 occupies 70% or more of the area of the contact part 31 between the die casting die 1 and the thick wall part 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
