PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isomerization catalyst the degradation of which is sufficiently suppressed and which allows for efficient isomerization reaction of olefin, even under environment in which oxygen or water is practically present.SOLUTION: There is provided the isomerization catalyst that is a catalyst for isomerizing fist linear olefin to second linear olefin with different position of a double bond in the presence of molecular oxygen of 20 vol.ppm or more and/or water and that contains Si and Al.SELECTED DRAWING: None
